1. How did you learn about Conversations for Action?:
I am studying with Gary Newby, who completed the first Ontological Design course with Dr. Flores in 1988. I believe that copyright law allows Mr. Newby to provide me with copies of the unpublished papers for educational purposes. If you understand differently, please let me know. I am a Unity minister in Houston, Texas
2. How has this learning contributed to your views and your participation in the world?:Mr. Newby and I have used what he learned to create a book titled Spiritual River Guide: A Handbook of Being, which is an ontological reconstruction of the domain of spirituality.
You can review this work as a PDF from AwakeNow.org

From "Understanding Computers and Cognition"
2. How has this learning contributed to your views and your participation in the world?:It is absolutely a ground-breaking book, because it is a brilliant application of the work of Austin and Searle to the world of work. I do not know if there is historically a better work in applied philosophy since the Talmud. I thank Fernando for writing the essays and Maria for collecting them.

1. How did you learn about Conversations for Action?:
I learned about this website through the consulting firm Vision. However, I have known of Fernando's work in this area since at least 1986 when a number of my colleagues were taking a course from Fernando at that time. If possible, please communicate to Fernando my deep gratitude for the availability of his work in this world.
2. How has this learning contributed to your views and your participation in the world?:Based on Fernando's work I have learned to listen to what people are committed to in conversation. This capacity has transformed the way I relate to them in terms of care and concern as well as dignity and respect. I utilize this work in developing others in their workplace. This development has led to an expanded capacity to demonstrate leadership and take responsibility for their future - a future that at first they did not think was possible.
